How to Choose the Right Size of Your Pool
There are a lot of questions that occurred when choosing a pool: what type, what form, what about finish and equipment? Other serious technical and economic aspects are also involved in this matter. One of them is the choice of the pool size depending on many parameters: its location, the purpose of usage, the financial limit.
It is obvious that each of us would like to have a very large swimming pool. But the main thing is not your preferences but the possibilities offered by the garden area. These things can vary not only in size but also in terrain. You should also consider the presence of trees. To select the right size, experts recommend to evaluate the area and measure it with a measuring tape.
Things On Which the Calculations are Based
A pool occupying a large part of the site will overwhelm all the space and look unattractive. Choosing the size of your pool, take into account the following criteria:
- Depth. The ideal pool depth is at least 3.5′ for a regular swimming pool. If the design is to be used primarily for children, the bowl may be less than 3′. The design and construction for jumping require a depth of 4-15′.
- Area. It is calculated according to the average number of people simultaneously swimming in the pool, and one person should have about 19-20’.
When building a pool, there is always a question of choosing the depth of the pool which is necessary for comfortable swimming and recreation. In the case of small spaces, it is recommended to buy a round size pool which is ideal for this purpose. Despite the small size in the round pools, there is enough space for summer entertainment.
